MEET IRREGULAR FILM
DIRECTOR - DP - EDITOR
Will grew up in Houston, Texas and received a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas in Austin. He moved to Vietnam in 2014, where he teamed up with Sean Lambe to start producing independent documentary films as Irregular Film. Will shot and edited Faces You Forget: Nights Out in Saigon, and went on to direct and produce Saigon Metalhood, the team's first feature. Since cutting his teeth on documentary productions, he has expanded his filmmaking horizons to narrative content, commercial videos and beyond.
DIRECTOR - WRITER - PRODUCER
Sean Lambe is a director, writer and producer from Tralee, Ireland. He founded Irregular Film with Will in 2015 and has since become a specialist in documentaries. He co-directed Faces You Forget and Saigon Metalhood, and is currently in Myanmar working on a new film about the brutal fighting art of Lethwei.
DP - EDITOR - VFX - Tech Wizard
Mateu hails from Mallorca, Spain, where he taught himself about filmmaking. He moved to Vietnam in 2013 where he became well-known in the hip-hop scene for his tight music videos, as well as tackling numerous commercial jobs and editing multiple feature films. Mateu met Will and Sean in 2017, and started collaborating with Irregular Film as editor of Saigon Metalhood. You can view more of Mateu's work here.
WRITER - PRODUCER
Nick grew up in Los Angeles fascinated by film, but apprehensive about an industry he’d seen so many people struggle in. After graduating UC Santa Cruz with a BA in creative writing, Nick escaped to Korea, where he immersed himself in the spoken word and art scene. He hosted poetry workshops and a monthly variety show. He relocated to Saigon, where he has focused on writing and producing scripts , such as for Commode, his first collaboration with Irregular film.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - SOUND RECORDIST - SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
Johnathan is a self-taught filmmaker and photographer from Australia who met Irregular Film in 2018. Since then, he's been invaluable due to his passion for filmmaking, his desire to learn and his willingness to commit to any project.
