In recent years, video technology has advanced tremendously, opening the door for the ability to produce beautiful cinematic images with greater ease and lower cost than ever before. The truth is - it's not that hard to find someone with a decent camera who can make a video that looks nice.

For Irregular Film, beautiful cinematic imagery is the starting point - not the ending point. We bring a nuanced understanding of storytelling and years of experience producing video in conjunction with marketing objectives. We know the secret of marketing through video - and the truth is, it's the same as making a good Hollywood film. You hook the viewer, you show them a relatable character, you keep them immersed, and you end with a bang.

We come from a background of independent, guerrilla filmmaking. Though we work with bigger budgets and more robust equipment than we used to, we believe in maintaining the powerful philosophy we formed when we began producing documentaries in the street with a DSLR.

That philosophy is summed up as: EFFICIENT - FOCUSED - TACTICAL

Big crews and unnecessary frivolities are a leading cause in video productions being slow, inefficient and expensive. We keep our crew tight and our shoots as minimal as possible - while maintaining the highest quality results for you.

Our team is fully modular and we can plan, shoot and edit ANYWHERE in the world - yes, Will has been spotted editing rushes on his laptop in the jungles of Myanmar.

1. What kind of videos can you produce?

We have experience making web videos, ads, documentaries, corporate video, music videos, event videos and narrative content.

2. Where are you based?

Irregular Film is an international collective with production history in the United States, Spain, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Currently, our main production unit is based in Texas.

What are your rates?

We have no fixed rate - our estimate scales depending on the parameters of any given project. A common misconception is that video length correlates to cost - but in fact, a one minute video could run anywhere from $500 to $5,000+ depending on the specific concept. We can review your project and if our quote exceeds your budget, we can advise you on how to achieve effective results while managing the cost.
